The safety behavior described in Section 6, including content moderation and the AI's conduct toward you, was validated against this Application as shipped: the default AI model and the scenario library distributed with it. This Application supports changing the underlying AI model and editing or adding scenario prompts — both are supported features, and neither is restricted.
Changing either can change behavior. A different model may respond to the same prompt differently than the model we validated, and a scenario prompt you write or edit is content we did not write and did not validate.
If you change the AI model, edit or add scenario prompts, or alter safety-related settings, you are responsible for validating that your configuration meets whatever obligations apply to your deployment. This sits alongside Section 4's existing responsibility for your own deployment's security and privacy, and alongside the operator relationship for self-hosted instances described in our FAQ: if you self-host this Application, you are the operator of your instance, and configuration choices you make are yours.
This does not change what does not depend on which model is configured. Some safety behavior is enforced by checking the Application's output directly, rather than by relying on the model to behave — this operates the same way regardless of which model you configure. As of this writing, that includes: the Application will not claim to be a real, human, or sentient being even if instructed otherwise by a scenario prompt, and it will not generate output expressing romantic or sexual interest in you or generating sexual content. Other safety behavior does depend on the configured model's own responses and is within the scope described above.
You may NOT use the Application to:
The Application includes an AI-based content moderation system designed to maintain a safe training environment. Content that violates community standards may:
Repeated Violation Policy: If you submit 3 or more similar safety violations within a session, this pattern will be automatically reported to the host/administrator. This policy exists to prevent systematic misuse of the platform.
No Guarantee: While we strive to maintain content safety, no moderation system is perfect. The AI may occasionally flag appropriate content or miss inappropriate content.
Malwarebytes Browser Guard Notice: Some browser security extensions (particularly Malwarebytes Browser Guard) may incorrectly flag this domain as "risky" due to the .tech TLD. This is a false positive. The .tech domain is a standard, legitimate top-level domain used by developers and technology companies worldwide.

Our Promise:
Note: This pledge applies to the local execution of the software. External dependencies (e.g., third-party APIs like OpenAI or Anthropic) are subject to their own availability and are not covered by this pledge.
We also have the right to reclaim any rented technology or services that are not part of the local software itself, such as cloud hosting, online demos, or proprietary AI models that require server-side processing in the event of a bankruptcy, but a local only copy that you can run on your own hardware will still be given to you.
