This software and associated documentation files are the exclusive property of Ari Kotler, operating as Intentioned.tech.
This license grants you NO rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software without explicit written authorization from the copyright holder.

The Software, including but not limited to:
constitutes proprietary trade secrets and intellectual property of the copyright holder. The selection, arrangement, and composition of components represents significant creative and technical work protected under international copyright and trade secret laws.
Intentioned.tech is proprietary software, but it stands on a large body of open-source work. The components below are incorporated into, or shipped alongside, the Software and remain governed by their own licenses — nothing in this license supersedes them. Where a component's license requires attribution, this page serves as that attribution.
Your use of this Software does not grant you any rights to these components beyond what their respective licenses allow. The complete license texts are distributed with the Software in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.
Kokoro-82M's training set includes two Creative Commons Attribution datasets, and CC BY requires that credit travel downstream: Koniwa (© Koniwa contributors, CC BY 3.0) and SIWIS (© the SIWIS project, CC BY 4.0). Kokoro's architecture derives from StyleTTS 2 and an ISTFTNet vocoder; it was trained from scratch and carries its own Apache-2.0 grant.
Intentioned.tech can also load any model compatible with Hugging Face Transformers or the GGUF format. Models you supply yourself are governed solely by their own licenses, which you are responsible for reviewing.
Two GPL-licensed components — phonemizer-fork and espeak-ng — are not installed or distributed with Intentioned.tech. They are optional extras an operator may add themselves to improve pronunciation of out-of-dictionary words; without them, English speech synthesis skips unknown words rather than guessing at them. If you choose to install them, they remain under their own GPL terms and are obtained by you directly from their publishers.
Some components above are licensed under the LGPL or MPL. Where they are present, they are separate, unmodified libraries — they are not compiled into, or merged with, Intentioned.tech's own modules.
The standard Intentioned.tech distribution contains our own compiled modules and assets. It does not contain the Python libraries above: the installer creates a virtual environment on your machine and downloads them directly from their publishers on the Python Package Index, in their original unmodified form. You therefore receive each of them from its own publisher under its own license.
Where a build does include these libraries, we supply their complete corresponding source alongside it, and they remain replaceable — you can substitute your own build of any LGPL library without altering the rest of the Software. If you ever need corresponding source we have not provided, write to contact@intentioned.tech and we will supply it.
For completeness, and because they are not open source: builds with NVIDIA GPU support include NVIDIA CUDA runtime libraries (cuBLAS, cuDNN, cuFFT, NCCL and related components), redistributed under the NVIDIA CUDA End User License Agreement. They remain the property of NVIDIA Corporation and are governed solely by that agreement.
This list covers the primary components. It is maintained on a best-effort basis and may lag behind a release; the THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES file shipped with your copy of the Software is authoritative. If you believe a component is missing or misattributed, please tell us at contact@intentioned.tech and we will correct it.

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the Software in your possession.
This license shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this license shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
This license constitutes the entire agreement between you and the copyright holder concerning the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous oral or written communications, proposals, and representations.
